Booths

The parade begins at 4:30PM at 40th Ave heading north on Pines Rd. Meanwhile, spectators will arrive to reserve their space to watch the parade. Booths are encouraged to socialize, educate and listen to our community members with compassion.

Setup begins no sooner than 2:00PM. Booths must be in place and vehicles out of the area by 2:45PM. Tear-down starts no earlier than 5:00PM. No vehicles are allowed in the booth area until the parade has passed 32nd Ave, for safety purposes and so headlines are not distracting spectators from the parade. Booths will be setup in the west parking lot of the University High School, specifically in the north/west-most parking spots closest to the fence. Each booth is entitled to two adjoining parking spaces and/or two canopies. (Canopies are not provided and must have no less than 20 lbs anchoring each leg.) Please be prepared for inclement weather and dress warm. If windy, please be mindful if your canopy needs to be taken down. We recommend booths be identified with a sign and encourage decorating with holiday lights. While there are parking lot lights, it will be dark when the parade is over. No electricity is available for use. Portable heaters can be used, as long as there is no open flame (this includes propane fire pits). Restrooms are located south of the school near the stadium.

Booths and their representatives shall conduct themselves in a safe, courteous, and harmonious manner with spectators and other booths. Spaces shall be kept clean and orderly during booth times and shall be cleaned prior to vacating the lot. No pets will be allowed in the area. This event is not a forum for political or religious activities. Booths need to keep a watchful eye on their children at all times.

Immediately following the parade, you are invited to join parade participants that meet on the east side of University High School for hot cocoa and to see the floats and other parade entries. To avoid traffic on 32nd Ave, you can join us by using the alley on the south side of the school.

We will update all approved entries on any changes that may happen during this process, whether it be regulations to adhere to or cancellation.
